Strategic Automation - The Unseen Force Behind High-Impact Email Marketing

An organization’s ability to leverage automation technology to drive efficiency and gain a competitive advantage relies on more than simply adopting tools. It also depends on the strategic orchestration of those technologies in support of overall business goals, which necessitates a well-considered automation strategy.

Creating a strategic plan for automation involves several elements, including identifying processes that should be automated. This often includes looking at tasks that are repetitive or labor-intensive and require significant resources to execute. It may also include examining the business’s existing infrastructure to see what tools are available or what modifications might be required to support the automation effort.

Once the scope of processes that will be automated is determined, it’s necessary to determine which tools can best automate each task. This is usually accomplished through a process of learning what each tool can and cannot do, assessing return on investment, and ensuring that the selected tool(s) are not duplicative or redundant. Additionally, a thorough understanding of the organization’s current technology environment is important to ensure that there are no gaps or conflicts between systems that could hamper automation efforts.

Employees are key to a successful automation initiative, but many organizations tend to overlook the importance of engaging employees as part of the overall plan. Getting people truly on board means showing them how automation will help them achieve personal or professional benefits, such as improved work/life balance, career advancement opportunities, financial upside, and other perks. Additionally, a well- defined plan should include training opportunities to help staff develop the skills needed to interact with new technologies and work alongside automated tools.

An essential step in any automation process is to establish clear goals and objectives for the program. This will serve as a roadmap and provide a mechanism for measuring progress. This can include goals such as reducing costs, improving accuracy, or increasing customer service. Having specific objectives in place helps to ensure that the entire automation program is aligned with overall business goals and can be viewed as an opportunity to improve the company.

Once a clear plan for automation has been established, it’s time to get started. This stage should involve a detailed execution of the automation strategy with an emphasis on quality and testing. This includes setting up pre-production environments to perform user acceptance tests (UAT) and shifts from development to production to validate that the automated processes work as intended. Lastly, this phase should involve an ongoing emphasis on optimization.

The goal is to continually refine and tweak the automated processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness over time. This continual focus on improvement will allow for the full potential of automation to be realized.

Hi there
Just a few words about who I am and where I’ve been and what’s going on in my life.
My name is Darrell Vogt and am married to my lovely wife. We actually attended the
same grade school and high school together and we have 2 boys that are both married.
After high school I attended business college for a year and went to work at an airplane
mfg. co. Then a friend and I decided we wanted to drive a big truck, so long story short
and a couple of million miles later I decided that I wanted to spend more time at home.

I started working on the computer immediately after early retirement and looking
for a business of some sort that would bring in some extra income. But I had this
burning desire to find that piece of information or that program or that system that
could do that for me. I’m content with what I am now doing. Helping people build their

business and their dream.
